At LJH Glass, I am committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone. I am currently on a journey—not just in glass fusing, but in building a website that is clear, easy to navigate, and inclusive for all visitors.

1. Our Commitment

I aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with various disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, and cognitive impairments.

2. Actions I Am Taking

As I build and grow ljhglass.com, I am focusing on several key areas:

  • Alt Text: Providing descriptive text for images of my glass art so screen reader users can understand the textures and colours.

  • Contrast & Readability: Ensuring text is easy to read against background colours.

  • Keyboard Navigation: Making sure the site can be navigated without a mouse.

  • Simple Language: Keeping my studio updates and glass process descriptions clear and easy to follow.

3. Current Status

I am a solo artist building this site from the ground up. While I strive for perfection, I recognise that some parts of the site may still have accessibility hurdles as I continue to learn.
